What the A710 does
When your 3CX system is hosted in the cloud, the phones at each site need a secure way to reach it through the local router and firewall. The A710 sits on the site’s network, creates that connection back to 3CX, and passes calls for every phone behind it.
You manage it from the 3CX phone system admin console, the same place you manage your extensions. Phones at the site are provisioned through the A710, so there is no need to configure each handset by hand or open a range of ports on the firewall.
