Most phone system decisions are made on features and price. Schools are the exception because a school switchboard is part of the emergency management plan, and the day it matters most is the day the power is out. That changes the order of the questions you should be asking a supplier. A school switchboard is

A dealership’s phone system gets judged on one number that nobody measures properly: how many people rang, wanted to give you money, and didn’t get through. Service bookings, trade-in enquiries, parts orders, and finance questions all arrive on the same lines, get handled by staff who rarely sit at a desk, and disappear without a

Your CRM tells you what your team says happened. Your phone system tells you what happened. Most of the time, those two records agree closely enough that nobody checks, and the gap between them stays invisible until someone asks a question neither system was designed to answer. Reported data and observed data are not the

A distributor’s phone system is usually the busiest part of the business and the least measured. Reps take orders on mobiles, each branch answers its own direct line, and the trade counter picks up when someone is free. None of it lands anywhere a manager can see it. A phone call is still one of the most direct lines between a business and its clients. It’s fast, personal, and unlike an email, it’s hard to ignore, too.  But what happens after those calls? Most businesses do very little with that data. Calls get logged, maybe recorded, and then left to accumulate without anyone

For many law firms, the first real sign of a new matter is still a phone call. Someone has been in an accident. A business owner needs urgent advice. A family law enquiry comes through after hours. The caller may not fill out a form or wait three days for a reply. They demand immediate

A missed call doesn’t always mean a missed conversation. Sometimes, it means losing a client before the conversation even begins. For law firms, that can mean missing out on matters worth thousands, or even hundreds of thousands of dollars. Unlike retail or hospitality, legal enquiries are rarely impulse decisions. People usually call because they’re facing
